For The Love Of Our Horses

it is full also of the overcoming of it"

My name is Tessa Aliece Phillips, I am a sixteen year old girl from Sicamous, BC, Canada. Writing and Horses are my passion and I have managed to link the two together and have found that my writing not only benifits those around me, but those around the globe!
My main mission is to educate the public on the horrors of the slaughterhouse and the PMU industries, as well as our wild horse round-ups by the BLM. To do so, I have been writing articles and posting them on my Facebook page "For The Love Of Our Horses" which has gained so many 'likes', I am having trouble keeping up!
My article which started this whole thing was published in the May issue of Saddle Up Magazine and is on The Canadian Horse Defence Coalition's blog: http://canadianhorsedefencecoalition.wordpress.com/2011/06/07/for-the-love-of-our-horses/
I hope you will enjoy my writing and work and please feel free to also follow me on Facebook on my For The Love Of Our Horses page.

Best wishes to you all,

it will make all the difference."

"I am hear to listen, not to judge. I realize that we are all human, just trying to find our way in this puzzle called life. Our mistakes should not be judged, because we learn from them and become better people in the end."

We Are The Generation That Will Change The World

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter ~ the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal. I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly,
"I have done something," He replied,
 "I created you."

"You see, in my view a writer is a writer not because she writes well and
easily, because she has amazing talent, because everything she does is golden.
In my view a writer is a writer because even when there is no hope, even when
nothing you do shows any sign of promise, you keep writing anyway."
